At Royal Niestern Sander (KNS) we are busy implementing our (fully web-based) vEssentials solution. vEssentials contains, as the name implies, essential PDM and ERP modules for an integrated approach aimed at manufacturing companies. vEssentials is based on Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint because we believe that no commercial package (and we’ve seen most of them up close) can compete with Microsoft’s cutting-edge technologies.

As a precursor to vEssentials, we already introduced our vBrowser (data editor) and vConnect products at KNS. Which enables people to open up their 3D model (Cadmatic eBrowser in this case), assign information to components trough vBrowser (data editor), like for example, a planner assigning logistic groups or a foreman assigning production statuses. These data will be synchronized with vEssentials trough vConnect which makes it easy to exchange information between several software systems with ready-to-use connectors.
